The January Meeting

Following our tradition the first meeting of the New Year was a social evening. Our Chairman, Min Kennison, provided a set of quizzes to tax our brains and compete for bottles of fizz. Following this lighthearted entertainment we enjoyed a superb buffet to which all those attending had contributed a dish. Not surprisingly there was more food than the most gargantuan appetite could manage.
Despite the cold weather a total of 10 plants were staged for the Table Show, with Joan and Jack Butcher’s Dendrochilum tenellum being the worthy winner.
