December is traditionally a festive meeting, with quizzes of varying difficulty, plenty of food for sharing and a chance to have a good old mardle as they say in Norfolk.
This year saw a new introduction, quizzes from the British Orchid Council, cunningly put together by Iain Wright, which were shown on the large AV screen. They proved to be quite challenging but those who achieved more than a modest score were rewarded with bottles of wine provide by our President.
The buffet was a splendid spread catering for all tastes and much appreciated by all present. A well supported table show saw Coelia bella exhibited by Joan and Jack Butcher come out as plant of the Month.
